The creation of a traditional Japanese restaurant is primarily based on the passion and interest in Japanese culture and traditions of the two people behind it. It is therefore an exciting life project, which fueled their dedication to it. The two key elements of this project, who, by pure chance, motivated by the reasons described above, simultaneously sought in-depth knowledge and, therefore, a closer connection to this culture, particularly in its gastronomy. They attended a training course promoted by the Professional Chefs Association of Portugal and taught by Chef Miguel Bértolo, one of the leading figures in the world of Japanese cuisine, achieving excellent results. Driven by imagination and the desire to elevate traditions, providing future customers with a unique experience—"A Little Japan"—wherever Kabuki Sushi went.
